FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC)

I played the role of a Co-Leader, PR Head, and a Robot Designer for my team when we competed in the FIRST Tech Challenge in 2020. For this competition, my team and I created a 10-inch by 15-inch robot with components like claws, wheels, and sensors. As the head of PR, I decorated and designed our team’s clothing, posters, and robots. Furthermore, I created fliers and brochures to inform people about our work. I also headed an outreach program where we taught children about robotics in underprivileged schools in Pune, India and orphanages like Maher. We created and coded an advanced robot to go through a series of obstacles in competition with other teams’ robots and achieved 10th Rank in the Final Competition.

First Tech Challenge, popularly known as FTC, is an exciting and innovative global robotics competition for students in the age group of 12 years. to 18 years. FTC imbibes life skills amongst students besides learning technical aspects of robotics. The First Tech Challenge inspires young people to become science and technology leaders by hosting competitions between 100+ teams worldwide.
