I participated in a summer course focused on Women in STEM at the University of Houston. I attended the course ‘Making HERstory: Guiding Girls towards STEM’. This course contributed to expanding my knowledge regarding STEM. Working with other girls who had a passion for and aspired to have a career in STEM, we each researched about different aspects of the field.

My group created a presentation on Medicine and Robotics and how the two could be used together. Funnily enough, that passion and interest of mine in the intersection between medicine and robotics continues today.
