K-12 Academy

I attended Medical Terminology-I online program offered by K-12 academy for 14 weeks in 2021. Through this course, I learned a simplified process of memorising complex medical terminology by focusing on the critical word parts—common prefixes, suffixes and root words—that provide a foundation for learning hundreds of medical terms. Organised by body systems, the course followed a logical flow of information: an overview of the body system’s structures and functions, a summary of applicable medical specialities, and, ultimately, pathology, diagnostic, and treatment procedures. I also learned about various medical terms and how to identify what a disease correlates to just by the name.
